One feature of this blog that will be continually updated is the Word Wall in the right-hand margin of this page. While we will be covering quite a bit of new vocabulary together this school year, not all of it will be useful throughout the year. Some vocabulary terms are most useful with specific literary pieces or during specific novels. The words which will ultimately be added to the Word Wall will include those terms which are helpful in discussing many genres of literature or terms that can be applied to multiple types of literacy.
The first 50 terms on the word wall are being carried over from years past, and their inclusion assumes that you have a basic understanding as to what each is and how it might appear in a literary work.
