English 10-4: Day D, Block 2

The following two terms were added to the sort card deck, bring the total up to 60:

society, violence, democracy, survival, civilized

Please remember to arrange to see your teacher during Advisement if you need assistance with any of the following homework assignments: 1) Complete "Checking the Framework" for Lord of the Flies (LotF).

2) Read Chapter one of LotF and complete the first three sections of the Active Literacy Form. Remember:

a) students whose last name begins with A thru M should complete a Attribute Web about the character "Piggy", those whose last name begins with N through Z should focus on "Jack."

b) DO NOT answer the Guided Reading questions.
