So, Where Are We Now?

As of this past Friday, October 31, all of Mr. Scott's tenth grade English classes (English 10-3 Day A/C, Block 4 and English 10-4 Day B/D, Block 3) have completed the coursework for our first unit which revolved around Lord of the Flies and dealt with the themes of Identity and the Utopia/Dystopia.

The culminating activities, some of which are still being graded, include:

1) An in-class Comprehensive Test.

2) A take home project.

3) Binder & Sort Card checks.
The next two classes will include a series of activities intended to transition us from the first unit and into the second, during which we will be working with Ayn Rand's Anthem.
