The following activities took place in class today:

1) Paragraph Proofreading Paractice: "Talking About Time."

2) Writing Journal Prompt 9: How do you define what "innocence" and, given that definition, how does one lose that innocence?

3) Student Packets for Unit 5: Fallen Angels were distributed and their use reviewed.

4) Building background activity on the Vietnam War, the general setting of the novel.

5) Began reading assignment 1, Fallen Angels, pages 1-23. Students should also begin completing page 2 of their Student Guide, "Characters."

Homework due next class:

1) Fallen Angels, pages 1-23 & begin completing page 2 of your Student Guide, "Characters."

Remember, it is YOUR responsibility to see the teacher PRIOR to Advisement and arrange for a pass when you need assistance with any home/classwork.
