In-Class Today: 1/14 & 1/15

English 10-3 A/C Days, Block 4
English 10-4 B/D Days, Block 2


The following activities took place in class today:

1) Compared and contrasted two different versions of the same play, The Tragedy of Julius Caesar. We will be using the textbook version in school and the individual editions at home.

2) Reviewed both a class Story Map and an Act I Student Guide to be employed by student's in better understanding the events of each act.

2) Reviewed "How to Read a Play."

3) Read Act I, Scene i of The Tragedy of Julius Caesar by William Shakespeare.
Homework Due Next Class:
1) Answer Student Guide Questions for Act I, Scene 1 and Act I, Scene 2.
Remember, it is YOUR responsibility to see the teacher PRIOR to Advisement and arrange for a pass when you need assistance with any home/classwork.
