In-Class Today: 1/6& 1/7

English 10-3 A/C Days, Block 4
English 10-4 B/D Days, Block 2

The following activities took place in class today:

1) Reintroduction of the Daily Paragraph Proofreading activity. Each day students will proof a paragraph containing grammar, punctuation and word choice errors using standard proofreader's marks. Every fifth class there will be a brief assessment of student progress.

2) The short story "On the Rainy River" by Tim O'Brien was read in anticipation of our next novel, Julius Caesar by William Shakespeare.

3) Student research papers were returned and Winter Recess Reading (December Stillness) were collected.

Homework Due Next Class:

None.
