In-Class Today: 2/25 & 26

English 10-4 B/D Days, Block 2
Englsih 10-3 A/C Days, Block 4


The following activities took place in class today:

1) Paragraph Proofreading Practice

2) Binder/Folder Reset

3) Three new terms added to the deck of 97 Sort Cards: literary elements, literary techniques, parts of speech; this brought the total deck to 100 cards.

4) Mr. Scott modelled the process of coding the 97 cards as either literary elements (LE), literary techniques (T), parts of speech (P) or "none of the above."

5) “Meet Elie Weisel” Listenting and Writing Practice

6) Viewed an excerpt from First Person Singular: Elie Weisel.
Homework for Completion Over the Recess:
1) Code all 97 sort card terms as either literary elements (LE), literary techniques (T), parts of speech (P) or "none of the above."
Remember, it is YOUR responsibility to see the teacher PRIOR to Advisement and arrange for a pass when you need assistance with any home/classwork.
