In-Class Today: 11/24 & 11/25

English 10-3 Day A, Block 4
English 10-4 Day B, Block 2

The following activities took place in class today:

1) Check of Reading Journal Entry 4 Pre-reading Vocabulary definitions.

2) Review of Individualism (Equality 7-2521) v. Collectivism (World Council) graphic organizer, adding additional plot points from Reading Assignment 4.

4) Distribute and assign students a Reading Comprehension activities covering information in Chapters VI-VIII.

5) Set-up Anthem Reading Journal Entry 5 for Chapter IX-X, on loose-leaf with the appropriate "Heading" and pre-reading vocabulary.

6) Began Reading Assignment 5 (Chapters IX-X), of Anthem by Ayn Rand in class.

7) After completing Reading Assignment 5, complete the Reading Journal Entry by summarizing the events in the assigned reading as "Recapping," and then move on to "Connecting", "Pondering" and "Savoring" as assigned.

Homework Due Next Class:

1)Finish Reading Assignemnt 5 (Chapters IX-X) of Anthem.

2) Complete a combined Reading Journal Entry for the chapters assigned.

Remember, it is YOUR responsibility to see the teacher PRIOR to Advisement and arrange for a pass when you need assistance with any home/classwork.
